To find photos missing locations.
CrumbDB needs access to your photos to find which are missing locations. You can choose to give limited access if you want. If you give full access then your other photos can also help find locations for your missing ones.

Workout Routes
Fills the gaps on hikes and rides.
CrumbDB can look at your workouts like hiking and cycling to find locations for photos you took on the trail.
-
Always-On Location
To know where you were when you took a photo.
If you allow, CrumbDB will get regular location updates from your phone and store them to match to your photos in the future.
-
Notifications
To let you know when new matches are found.
If you want, CrumbDB can occasionally look for new location matches for you and send you a notification when any are found. We promise these will never be spam and will be infrequent.
On your Mac
CrumbDB on your iPhone records where you go and reads your workout routes. Everything it collects syncs to your Mac through iCloud, so your Mac can match photos against what your phone has seen.
